Eminem’s 11th studio album “Music to Be Murdered By” is also his fifth to earn the milestone of 2 billion Spotify plays.

Marshall is the second artist with most albums over 2 billion streams. Drake is the only one who has 6 records with this count.

“Music to Be Murdered By” was released as a surprise drop in January 2020 and stormed both streaming and selling charts, debuting atop the Billboard 200. Later in December, its performance was boosted with the “Music to Be Murdered By: Side B” deluxe edition.

Since then, Eminem keeps a steady supply of videos, keeping the audience’s interest in the album afloat. It started with his second collaboration with a young hip hop director Cole Bennett, “Gnat”, brought a boxing-themed dedication to LL Cool J “Higher” and animated lyric videos “Tone Death” and “Alfred’s Theme”.

The latest instalment that is yet to impact the charts is “Killer (Remix), ” which showcases Marshall’s cohesive collaboration with young spitters Jack Harlow and Cordae.
