UW Battle League extends best wishes to Jack Thriller on his new endeavor with Eminem.
UW Battle League has addressed Jack Thriller’s announcement of a Battle Rap reality TV show headed by Eminem. The Battle Rap league, which hired Thriller to be its host for the January 26 “High Stakes” Battle Rap event, spoke with HipHopDX about Thriller’s new endeavor.
“The UW Battle League extends our best wishes to our ‘High Stakes’ host Jack Thriller on his new endeavor with the big homie Eminem,” UW’s D Rock said in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “Em laid out the blueprint evolving from battle rapper to mega superstar. Hats off to him for recognizing Jack’s talent as a comedian-host-commentator. We’re positive he will surpass all expectations.”
UW also said fans can see Thriller in action at its “High Stakes” event, slated to take place in Elizabeth, New Jersey January 26. The event is set to feature Hollow Da Don Vs. Loaded Lux and Daylyt Vs. B Magic, among others. The event is available for live pay-per-view streaming.
Thriller made the TV show announcement yesterday (January 16) with an Instagram caption, but later the host deleted his post.
Soon after reports about his post were made, Shady Records emcee Royce Da 5’9 appeared to address the show discussion with a Twitter post rejecting “battle show rumors.”
