50 Cent is ready to present the history of hip-hop court battles in a massive TV show.
In his multiple interviews 50 hinted at his new TV project and now he, at last, published an official statement where he revealed all details about his historic project. This is a scripted documentary series called “A Moment In Time” that will tell stories about the legal dramas of celebrities. 50 Cents starts with the familiar world of hip-hop.
The first topics he is covering include: the story of Tekashi 6ix9ine and his brief but controversial rap career tightly linked to Nine Trey Bloods gang; Snoop Dogg‘s murder trial, which happened at the same time he had the highest-selling hip-hop album in the country, “Doggystyle”; producer Scott Storch who made millions as a hit producer for 50, Beyonce, Fat Joe, Christina Aguilera and others and lost it all in a spiral of drug abuse; and 50 Cent himself who tangled with former music executive Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond in 2007 which resulted in the murder of 50’s associate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher, and for which Rosemond is serving two life sentences (for ordering Fletcher’s death and his role in a drug-trafficking operation).
The series will be produced by 50 through his production company G-Unit Film & Television. As an official statement says “Each season will showcase historical moments in hip-hop culture and revolve around a different music icon, sports hero, infamous drug organization”.
With air time of 6 to 8 hours per each story, the multitude of legal scandals in showbiz and the popularity of true crime genre, it looks like 50 Cent is going to be busy for years from now on.
